Running Vidtech Encoder on Windows
Vidtech Encoder's Windows builds aren't code-signed yet, so Windows shows a warning the first time you run the installer. This is completely normal for a small, free tool like this one — here's how to get past it.
- Double-click the installer you downloaded.
- You'll see a blue screen titled "Windows protected your PC".
- Click the small "More info" link.
- A "Run anyway" button appears — click it.
- The installer opens normally from here. You only need to do this once, when installing.
You'll only see this warning the first time you run a new installer — it won't come back once Vidtech Encoder is installed.
